In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing leadership, guidance, and high-quality patient care in an adult inpatient psychiatric unit.

What You'll Do:

Supervise and support the nursing team to ensure excellent patient care.

Oversee initial nursing assessments within 24 hours of admission and ensure ongoing patient evaluations.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and external healthcare providers to coordinate effective care and discharge planning.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required patient documentation.

Manage clinical staff scheduling to maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.

Mentor and support nursing staff, encouraging professional growth and development.

Monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular evaluations.

Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and safety protocols.

Ensure proper functioning of medical equipment and arrange for necessary maintenance.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support unit operations.

What You Bring:

Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing (required).

Licensure & Certification: Active AL or multi-state RN license and CPR certification (required).

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in behavioral health nursing.

Skills: Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism, make informed decisions under pressure, and foster a supportive team environment.
