Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our North Little Rock, AR branch, specializing in building materials such as flooring, cabinetry, and countertops. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent people skills, and an in-depth understanding of the building materials industry. We support residential and commercial spaces and both trade professionals and homeowners know us a their one-stop shop!

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to company policies.
- Lead and support the sales team, driving sales growth and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective training and mentorship.
- Build and maintain relationships within the community, fostering partnerships with local contractors, builders, and residential clients.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to increase branch visibility and presence in the residential and commercial markets.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure quality control of products delivered to customers.
- Monitor financial performance and develop budgets to align with branch goals and company objectives.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.
- Recruit, hire, and retain top talent, creating a positive team culture focused on collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field experience preferred.
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the home building materials (flooring, cabinetry, countertops) and/or construction industry.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of supporting a sales team and reaching targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building relationships at all levels.
- Ability to lead a diverse team and promote a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management and financial reporting.
- Commitment to community engagement and local business development.

Able to work, M-F, ( Branch is open M,W,F is 8-5:00 and Tues,Thurs 8-7:00)
