Warehouse Automotive

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to support the efficient processing and delivery of vehicles to meet customer and dealer demands. This role involves safely operating vehicles, inspecting them, preparing them for accessory installation, and ensuring quality control in compliance with company policies and safety standards.

We currently have both day and night shifts available, with plenty of overtime opportunities!

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely, consistent, and reliable attendance.
• Safely operate all makes and models of vehicles in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; follow all safety regulations and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Meet productivity and quality performance standards.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and job instructions.
• Accurately and efficiently install accessories on new vehicles.
• Verify and document receipt of correct parts and accessories.
• Properly handle, maintain, and safeguard tools and equipment.
• Perform quality checks and verify fit and function of installed accessories.
• Conduct final inspections for defects and proper accessory installation.
• Assist in training and supporting team members as needed.
• Perform ramp driving and vehicle placement duties.
• Stock parts and materials as required.
• Maintain compliance with audit criteria, especially when parking vehicles in load lines.
• Handle customer and consumer data in accordance with privacy policies.
• Complete documentation and reports required during the final check process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and properly use PPE.
• Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of productivity and quality metrics in an automotive environment.
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Professional-level driving skills and ability to meet TMS audit standards.
• Must pass a drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move items up to 100 lbs.
• Full range of motion, including stooping, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
• Ability to climb stairs and maintain balance, crouch, and crawl as necessary.
• Visual requirements include close and distance vision, color perception, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:

• Valid driver’s license required.
