Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Roll Off Operator position with a company specializing in waste management.

As a Roll Off Operator, you will be responsible for operating a roll-off garbage truck to collect and transport waste and recycling materials in a safe and efficient manner.

All trucks have manual transmissions.

Hours: 6 am - when route is complete. Some OT required.
Pay : $19 with no Roll Off experience. $20-$21/hr with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a manual transmission roll-off garbage truck to pick up waste and recycling materials along designated routes.
• Safely maneuver the vehicle in residential and commercial areas, adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
• Empty bins and containers, ensuring proper placement and securing of materials.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, including pre-trip inspections and minor repairs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate routes and address any issues or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area.

Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver's license without a manual restriction
• At least 1 year of experience driving with your CDL license
• Proven experience as a roll-off operator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of traffic and safety regulations.
• Ability to operate hydraulic controls and maneuver the vehicle safely in various environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy waste containers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends.
