Position Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the company, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have the ability to think strategically while also diving into the details to ensure operational excellence, displaying a “roll up your sleeves” mentality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s growth and operational goals.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement policies.
  • Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to Leadership Team.
  • Manage financial risks, implement internal controls, and enhance financial transparency.
  • Lead financial reporting and ensure accuracy in financial statements and regulatory filings.
  • Oversee revenue cycle management, billing, and reimbursement processes to maximize revenue.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Develop cost-control measures and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Drive financial initiatives that align with the company's mission and long-term objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10+ years of financial leadership experience, preferably in the healthcare or home healthcare industry.
  • Foundational experience at a CPA firm is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, financial compliance, and industry regulations.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills (Great Plains preferred).
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and business expansion strategies is a plus.
