Job Description

We are a recruiting firm for third-party Amazon Delivery Partners looking to hire seasonal employees, with the possibility of becoming full-time and part-time Delivery Associates (DA) after a period of 3 months. DA's provide delivery services in the greater Atlanta and surrounding areas. 

Delivery Associates work hard, but enjoy autonomy in their workday. Ideal candidates are self-driven, energetic, reliable, and eager to get the job done. DA's must be goal-oriented and competitive while prioritizing safety and the customer experience.

Average Day of a Delivery Associate

• DA's deliver packages to houses, mobile parks, apartments, and businesses
• A DA's schedule will usually consist of 3 to 4 shifts per week for anywhere from 8-10 shifts per day.
• Delivery wave times start from 10:00am 
• DA's will need to be able to lift and carry packages, sometimes up to 50 pounds each (though most are much lighter).
• DA's may sometimes need to walk up flights of stairs and down long driveway to deliver packages.
• Drivers will be driving high-roof vans around the region.
• DA's may deliver more than 250 packages per day and will need to get in and out of the van at each stop.
• DA's will be provided rest and meal breaks and will be required to take them each day
• Routes may be in similar areas, but there is no guarantee of the route location each day; however, the current route delivery area is Pauling County.
• DA's will be expected to locate addresses via provided GPS system and use technology that is continually being improved.
• Training routes are provided for the first week of training, with the expectation that you build up to a full route.
• DOT certification is not required, however training will be offered after employment has begun and DA's are highly encouraged to complete the certification steps.

Driver Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to perform in this position, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age and have a valid drivers’ license
• Possess a High School Diploma
• Pass a motor vehicle record check
• Pass a five-panel drug test
