Job Title: Graphic & UI Designer

SUMMARY

We are seeking a versatile and innovative Graphic and UI Designer to join our dynamic team based in Houston. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of graphic design and user interface (UI) principles, with experience in packaging, email blasts, ad content creation, web interface design, and preferably copywriting. This role involves the creation, implementation, and production of designs that support both our marketing initiatives and digital platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These are basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, other duties may also be assigned.

• Design and produce compelling artwork, including but not limited to logos, email blasts, web ads, promotional materials, product packaging, and user interfaces.
• Develop and implement intuitive, engaging UI designs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with the marketing and production teams to ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate the desired message.
• Assist with the design and optimization of web elements to enhance user experience and improve site performance.
• Understand project requirements and concepts across both graphic and UI design.
• Use a variety of techniques and tools to create drafts, models, prototypes, and final design solutions.
• Pitch creative ideas that enhance both print and digital projects.
• Collaborate with team members to launch comprehensive campaigns for print, digital, and tradeshows.
• Drive messaging and message testing through various techniques, including A/B testing.
• Contribute ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions throughout campaign planning and keep abreast of existing and emerging media and marketing trends.

• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to integrate user interface design and graphic design to create seamless user experiences.
• Attention to visual details with a keen eye for typography, layout, color theory, and branding.
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with a team across multiple projects.
• Experience in packaging design, email blasts, campaign/ad content creation, and UI prototyping.
• Copywriting skills are a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate with, advise, and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
• A highly organized, detail-oriented individual who continuously seeks opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• A self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design and/or UI Design
• 3+ years of relevant experience working in graphics using the Adobe Creative Suite with a focus in Photoshop and Illustrator
• 2+ years of relevant experience in UI design programs with a focus in Figma
• A bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is a plus

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
