Position: HHC Network-Cisco/Mobile Manager

Location: Brooklyn, New York

Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: $60/hr

Must Have:

• Individual need to be hands-on, but they also need to have a Managerial background as well.
• Bachelors Degree is required
• Will be working 100% onsite at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn NY (Mon-Fri)
• This individual will be overseeing daily support for network/mobile-telecom technologies. Will proactively identify technology hardware, software, monitoring systems, and other related voice/telecom/data issues, etc.
• Needs to have strong experience working with Cisco routers/switches (Nexus); Basic network security; Mobile device procurement abilities (iPhone/iPad/Samsung), etc.

Description:

Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision, troubleshoot complex system hardware and performance issues.
Hands on experience in architecture/design, implementation & administration of Data/VoIP networks
Assisting with the research, selection, development, and integration of new technologies to meet the goals and objectives of the organization
Responsible for diagnosing and/or resolving problems in response to reported incidents involving
mobile device telecommunications, PBX network components, systems, or PBX software installed.
Responsible for maintaining a perpetual inventory of NEC telecommunications equipment, hardware and software related to the work of the PBX managed services
Troubleshoot and maintain CISCO hardware and software.
Repair and replace defective telephones.
Preform PBX moves, adds and changes (MAC Orders)
Assist in configuring and installing various CISCO IP Phone models on CUCM various versions
Perform move adds and changes on Cisco Unity Connection
Maintain and troubleshoot CISCO VG224 Analog Gateways.
Assist in configuring Agents IP Phones for extension mobility allowing access to the system from all available desktops and IP phones
Mobile device procurement iPhone, iPad, and Samsung devices
Perform other duties as assigned
Willing to perform x-connects or device rack mounting
In Depth technical knowledge and experience of CISCO routers and switches (Nexus), advanced routing/switching, platform configuration and basic network security
Working with Telecom carriers during implementations and outages
Hands on experience in voice, WiFi gateway and controller setup and maintenance
Following establish organization change and release management procedures, naming standard and other internal processes and procedures for managing daily activities and changes
Leading network project implementations and implement, and integrate network solutions based on Cisco and third-party technologies including
Driving improvements in network process, efficiency, and standardization
Leading and guiding junior network staff
