The role is to teach Chemistry to students aged 15-18 following the IBDP/A Level program. This international high school was established in 2006, offering A Level initially and then started to offer the IBDP program in 2012.  The school is located in the heart of Nanjing city with great access to the public transports such as buses and metros and few mins walk to shop amenities.

Who We’re Looking For:

✅ Native or fluent English speakers

✅ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

✅ Teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent preferred)

✅ Experience in international education (IGCSE, A-Level, IB, or AP preferred)

✅ Passion for teaching & a student-focused approach

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Experience:

2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

Must be a native speaker of English

Prefer candidates with international experience

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted

Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted

Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:

A salary from 18,000 up to 30,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi)per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied

Housing:

Housing allowance of 7,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided

Medical:

State/Public medical provided

Flights:

8,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided

Bereavement Leave:

Bereavement leave given

Emergency Evacuation:

Emergency evacuation given

Contract Length:

2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
