Responsibilities

Partnered with a leading medical center in northeastern Maryland with exclusive openings for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologists to provide locum coverage.

DX Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 8a-5p onsite, or Monday-Friday, 8a-5p remote

• Setting: On-site or tele

• Case Volume: 80-100 per day

• Cases: High CT and plain film volume, X-rays, MRI, US, nuclear

IR Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

• Call Requirement: Weekend beeper call, 5p Friday to 8a Monday

• Case Volume: 10-12 procedures per day

• Cases: Bread & butter, biliary, CT/US-guided biopsies, drains, XR fluoro, paras, thoras

Opportunity Overview:

• EMR: Epic

• PACS: Merge

• Dictation: Powerscribe 360

• Must be board-certified

• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• National Institutes of Health (NIH)

• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

• Active unencumbered MD or DO New Jersey state license

• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program

• One year of work experience as a Radiologist

• One year of EMR experience 

• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.

• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Requirements:

• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
