ORACLE APEX DEVELOPER

LOCATION: ONSITE, TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA -LOCAL

GC/USC/GC-EAD/H4

General Characteristics

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Apex Developer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of the following technologies, ORDS, APEX and other low-code development platforms. The person selected should also have an idea of the framework and architecture of Apex to help with strategic planning for the platform.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

A minimum of 7 years of programming/systems analysis experience with emphasis in applications and systems architectural design and development, database, and middleware technologies.

Complexity:

Advanced professional level role. Works on projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments. Works on multiple programs/systems as a project team member. Considered a subject matter expert for a single program/system. May coach more junior technical staff.

1.1 POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The Consultant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. 1. 1. Developing custom workflows using the Apex, and ORDS platforms.
      2. Maintain assigned systems in accordance with DISA STIGs, NIST standards, and agency requirements.
      3. Document supporting policies, processes and procedures within your areas of responsibilities.
      4. Design and maintain custom Oracle applications using Oracle Apex.
      5. Develop scripts in SQL, PLSQL for data conversion, data migration.
      6. Adherence to policies, processes and procedures within your areas of responsibility.
      7. Perform requirements analysis, development, design, test, and deployment of custom Oracle applications.
      8. Maintain documentation on all work products.
      9. Effective creation of dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment, using APEX reporting tools, BI Publisher or Oracle Reports.
      10. Maintain assigned systems in accordance with DISA STIGs, NIST standards, and agency requirements.

      12. Design and maintain custom Oracle applications using Oracle Apex.

1.3 ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. 1. 1. Experience with Oracle Database products version 11 and above.
      2. Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports version 10G or higher.
      3. Experience with Oracle APEX 4.0 and above.
      4. Experience troubleshooting.
