Job Title: Part-time College Ambassador (Richwood Valley Campus)

Salary Range: $13.40 per hour

FLSA: Non-Exempt


Immediate Supervisor: Director of Student Success-Richwood Valley and Table Rock Campuses

Schedule Details: Part-time (not to exceed 19.5 hours per week). Hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm.


Position Summary

College Ambassadors help educate visitors about campus life


Essential Job Duties

  • Staff the Student Success Front Desk to greet and answer questions for students, staff, and guests.
  • Develop an expanded knowledge of the college to be able to effectively answer questions for students, staff, and guests.
  • Assist in planning, hosting, and participating in on-campus events and special engagements (may include some off-campus events).
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Administer Eagle Breakfast
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work well with others
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use information technology for professional productivity (such as Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proactive mindset
  • Team oriented
  • Must be a current OTC student.

Preferred Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of the College’s admissions and financial aid process.
  • Experience with Colleague.
  • Experience working within a collegiate setting.
