Job Summary:

Little Dreamers Preschool is looking for a nurturing, creative, and dedicated K2 Teacher to lead a classroom of 2-year-olds. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of toddlers.

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Management & Instruction

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote early learning and development.
• Establish a daily routine that includes structured and unstructured play, group time, music, art, sensory activities, and storytime.
• Use positive guidance techniques to support social-emotional growth and classroom behavior.
• Foster independence and self-help skills such as toileting, feeding, and dressing.

Health & Safety

• Ensure constant supervision and the safety of all children in your care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment.
• Follow proper procedures for diapering, toileting, and sanitation.
• Comply with all state licensing regulations and health department standards.

Communication & Collaboration

• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and their families.
• Provide regular updates to parents through daily reports, newsletters, and conferences.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers, other staff, and the Childcare Director to support school goals and culture.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
