• ​​This job is a member of the Finance Team within the Finance Division.
• ​Responsible for the management of receivables in excess of $20 Million.

What you'll do

• ​​Manages monthly issuance of invoices for foreign mail activity according to specific contract terms or internationally accepted guidelines
• Reconciles monthly payments for each account (in multiple currencies)
• Completes application of cash to open receivable
• Resolves billing and payment discrepancies
• Collects of aged outstanding balances from foreign postal administrations
• Provides reporting to all levels of management as necessary
• Supports other mail accounting functions as necessary
• Performs ad hoc analysis when assigned
• Serves as the primary back-up for all accounts payables functions

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience/training

 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​Bilingual

 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• ​​Ability to work intuitively and cooperatively with a variety of internal and external customers
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Accounting principles, conceptual and analytical skills, and excellent problem-solving ability
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word) are required
• Knowledge of SABRE and other commercial systems are a plus
