We are currently seeking a Remote Tax Manager to join a collaborative, innovative team that values work-life balance and professional growth. What You'll Do:
Oversee and review complex tax returns, especially Form 1065, with an emphasis on real estate and construction clients, including areas like 1031 exchanges, special allocations, and cost segregation studies.
Manage client engagements, ensuring a high standard of service, and supervise project teams to deliver quality work.
Provide expertise on partnership agreements, research complex tax issues, and address client inquiries with clarity.
Collaborate with team members, share knowledge, and foster a supportive, positive work environment.
Take responsibility for accounts receivable collections and ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
Active CPA license.
At least 5 years of recent experience in public accounting, including working in a paperless environment and reviewing complex tax returns.
Experience in real estate and construction tax issues (e.g., 1031 exchanges, cost segregation studies, special allocations).
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a knack for solving complex problems.
Ability to embrace new technology and utilize MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) as well as tax software (preferably CCH Axcess & Engagement).
